The Neighborhood House

For those of you who don't know, we are walking in honor of Domonic Davis, an 11-year-old shot and killed in the West End of Cincinnati. Several children and a parent were also injured in the shooting. We are walking in honor of all of those affected by the plague of gun violence. The event will commence with a walk through the West End and will be followed by a town hall and community dialogue event, providing an opportunity for city leaders, community leaders, and residents to engage in open discussions about creating impactful change.

We are requesting involvement from local nonprofits and organizations throughout the West End and the Downtown area. If you or your organization would like to set up a table to offer resources or support to the community, please contact me ASAP.

9:00 AM: Coffee and Donuts at Cincinnati College Preparatory Academy Parking Lot
10:00 AM: Walk to End Gun Violence - The Walk begins on Linn St., goes around the West End, and will end at CCPA
11:00 AM: Town Hall/Community Dialogue Event at CCPA Auditorium
12:30 PM: Concert for Peace at Ezzard Charles Park: Live music, food trucks, and stations set up by nonprofits to provide resources and supports to children and families
