Eviction
On March 18th, 2020: President Trump restricted evictions on HUD or federally owned housing properties. This did not restrict evictions on privately owned companies. We do want to remind you that this restriction will be lifted and evictions will begin to flow, so please remember to pay your rent if you have the means to do so.
If you do have an eviction notice, below are a list of locations that are still providing Eviction Assistance:
- Seven Hills Neighborhood Houses
- St. Vincent de Paul
- Hamilton County Tenant Resources and Protections
- Community Action Agency
- Strategies to End Homelessness
- Prevention, Retention, and Contingency Fund
If you have questions about your rights as a tenant, you should call HOME (Housing Opportunities Made Equal): (513) 721-4663 or contact Legal Aide
Electricity and Water
Both Duke Energy and Cincinnati Water Works have suspended cutting off services during the pandemic for non-payments. Be aware that once the suspension lifts, they will be cutting off both water and electricity. Please remember to pay those bills if able to.
For assistance paying those bills contact St. Vincent de Paul.
